Our Mission

To plant forests and restore natural ecosystems by organizing community planting and stewardship events.

Our Programs

Community Tree Planting Events: We organize all aspects of these events including identifying suitable sites, preparing the soil, purchasing plants and recruiting volunteers.

Summer Maintenance Events: We monitor and steward past planting sites by weeding, watering, mulching and removal of invasive plants.

Our Approach

1. Native Ecosystems: We will plant the right tree in the right location based on the soils, climate and an understanding of what type of vegetation would have existed there historically.
2. Survival and Success: We will maximize plant survival rates with proper planning before the event and with monitoring and maintenance after the event.
3. Community Engagement: We will prioritize education and outreach through delivery of our tree planting programs. Our public events will be free and open to all to attend.
