Click here to volunteer as a Wildflower Planter
Do you love to garden? Well, we could sure use your help to plant some of the 1,200 flowers being used to create a bio-diverse habitat on Sunday, May 3.
Approximate time commitment:
- 2 hours on Sunday, May 3, 2020
- your choice of three start times (if you choose, say, an 8:30 a.m. start time, you'll want to be at the Mount Joy GO Station at 8:00 a.m. because it'll take 30 minutes to get to the Planting Site)
Please remember to bring your trowel or a small shovel, knee pads, rubber boots, gardening gloves, water bottle, sun-protection, and bug repellent.
We will be planting rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.
When you arrive at the site on Planting Day, one of our Wildflower Coaches will show you where everything is, and how to plant your flowers so that they have the best possible chances of surviving and thriving.
