Event Tear-down
The Tear-Down Team is responsible for things like:
-
tearing down tents and folding tables and loading them into the truck
-
closing up (zip-tying) deer fences
-
picking up left-over supplies (tree guards, etc) and loading them into the truck
-
collecting, cleaning, and packing up shovels
-
leaving the planting area in as good (or better) condition than we found it
-
taking down road and traffic management signs
-
returning the shuttle bus pick-up and drop-off areas to their original condition

The estimated time commitment for this role is four (4) hours on Planting Day, starting at 1:00 p.m. and finishing when all the tear-down work is completed.

NOTE 1: Complimentary lunch (hot dogs, hamburgers, and cold drinks) will be served between 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
NOTE 2: Tear Down Team Members (if driving) will be assigned on-site parking spaces, as they will be working later than the 4:15 p.m. departure of the last shuttle bus.

The Event Set-Up & Tear-Down Team Leader will reach out to all Tear-Down Team volunteers and provide guidance, information, and support.
