Community Service Hours

Students wishing to have their work with 10,000 Trees recorded for "Community Service" must take the following steps. There will be no exceptions made.

1. Before starting to plant go directly to the registration tent and find the desk marked "Community Service." Do not register at any other desk.

2. Please fill in the "Community Service Form" which you will be given. There is no need to fill out the regular Registration Form that appears on the back of the advertising flyer. The Community Service Form will ask you to note "Start Time" – this will be the time you are filling out the form. Leave the "Finish Time" blank.

3. Hand the completed form back to a 10,000 Trees representative at the Community Service desk and start planting!

4. When you're done planting, come back to the Community Service desk. A 10,000 Trees rep will note the finish time, add up your hours and sign the form. You will be given a copy for your school records.

New for 2008: 10,000 Trees will only record hours on its own "Community Service Form." This year we will not be recording hours on any school forms, or keeping them at the desk while you plant.
