These beautiful patches may be of interest to Scouting and Guiding groups or anyone who has an interest in nature. 10,000 Trees is introducing a series of patches highlighting indigenous species featured in our plantings. First in the series will be the Bur Oak, the most common of our native white oaks. The three inch patch will show a Bur Oak leaf, and have the words “Bur Oak” along with “10,000 Trees for the Rouge.”

Pre-ordering is available for orders of 5 or more patches. Each patch costs $2.00. To pre-order, email publicoutreach@10000trees.com with your name, phone number and the number of patches you’d like. There is no need to pre-pay. Your order will be available on planting day (April 27, 2008) in the Registration Tent. We will be accepting cash only, no cheques or credit cards please. The deadline for pre-ordering is February 8, 2008. |
